You'll see how every member is involved in every meeting, how the program really works, and just how supportive and encouraging we are.

You will have an opportunity to speak as well! We ask guests briefly to introduce themselves and tell us who they are and why they've come. At the end of the meeting, we ask you to give your overall impression of the meeting.

If you're serious about getting better at public speaking -- or even getting started in public speaking -- Capital Toastmasters I is the club for you!

We ask every prospective member to visit the club as a guest at least TWICE before deciding to join. You are welcome to visit us once at no cost to you. After that, we'll ask you for five dollars to cover the cost of your lunch.

We meet at the American Bar Association, 740 15th Street, NW, 9th Floor, Washington, DC 20005. To schedule a visit, please send an email to our Vice President/Membership, Anderson Jones, by clicking on his name. Please contact Anderson to arrange a visit -- no drop-ins allowed due to security requirements. Thanks!
